HUMASFKIPINFO — Pekanbaru, April 16, 2026 — The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Riau, received a visit from the Regional Research and Innovation Agency (BRIDA) of Jambi Province for a discussion and learning session on scientific journal management. This activity aimed to share experiences while strengthening journal management capacity at the regional level.
The event began with a welcoming remark from the representative of BRIDA Jambi Province, Dr. Susi Desmaryani, S.E., M.M., who expressed her hope that this forum would serve as a platform for mutual learning to improve the quality of scientific journal management.
The next remarks were delivered by the Dean of FKIP Universitas Riau, Prof. Dr. H. Jimmi Copriady, M.Si., who appreciated the visit and emphasized the importance of inter-institutional collaboration in enhancing the quality of scientific publications and reputable journal management.
During the main session, Dr. Eddy Noviana presented strategies and best practices in managing scientific journals. The session was followed by an interactive discussion moderated by Roza Sri Susanti, M.Pd., providing participants with the opportunity to exchange experiences and explore solutions to various challenges in journal management.
Through this activity, it is expected that stronger synergy will be established between FKIP Universitas Riau and BRIDA Jambi Province in developing high-quality scientific journals, as well as supporting the improvement of research publications at both national and international levels.
