Strengthening Strategic Collaboration: FKIP UNRI Biology Education Program and UNP Partner Toward International Accreditation
HUMASFKIPUNRI INFO – Pekanbaru, October 20, 2025 — The Undergraduate Biology Education Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Riau, held a Forum Group Discussion (FGD) with the Biology Education Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) to strengthen strategic collaboration in pursuit of international accreditation.
The event was attended by Dr. Darmadi, S.Pd., M.Si., Coordinator of the Biology Education Program, FKIP Universitas Riau; Dr. Irwan, M.Si., Vice Dean for Finance, Resources, Cooperation, and General Affairs, FMIPA UNP; and Dr. Muhyiatul Fadilah, S.Si., M.Pd., Coordinator of Biology Education, UNP.
This significant event was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between FKIP Universitas Riau and FMIPA Universitas Negeri Padang, as well as an Implementation Agreement (IA) between the Biology Education Programs of both institutions.
The FGD focused on discussions surrounding international curriculum development, opportunities for faculty and student exchanges, collaborative research, and globally recognized publications.
Through this synergy, FKIP Universitas Riau reaffirms its commitment to advancing the Biology Education Program toward greater competitiveness and international recognition, contributing to the university’s vision of becoming a world-class institution.
