HUMASFKIPINFO — Pekanbaru — The Early Childhood Teacher Education Study Program (PGPAUD), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Riau successfully organized the 14th National PAUD FAIR from April 10–14, 2026. This event carried the theme “Instilling Clean and Healthy Living Habits from an Early Age to Build a Healthy and Independent Generation” as a commitment to developing children’s character from an early age.
The opening ceremony was held at the Integrated Center Building of Universitas Riau and was officially inaugurated by the Dean of FKIP, Prof. Dr. Jimmi Copriady, M.Si. In his remarks, he emphasized that cultivating clean and healthy living habits is a crucial first step in creating a healthy, independent, and strong-character generation. He also appreciated the active role of PGPAUD in organizing this educational event at a national scale.
The event was also attended by the Vice Dean II of FKIP, Dr. Mahmud Alpusari, M.Pd, Vice Dean III of FKIP, Dr. Ria Novianti, S.Psi., M.Pd, the Chair of IGTKI Riau Province, Nartianis, S.Pd., M.Pd, the Chair of IGABA Riau Province, Sinta Siti Khadijah, S.Pd., M.Pd, the Chair of HIMPAUDI Riau Province, Hj. Aida Malikha, S.Psi., M.Psi, as well as Associate Expert from BGTK Riau, Tri Hastuti, S.Pd., M.Pd.
As the main organizer, PGPAUD FKIP Universitas Riau presented a series of educational and inspiring activities throughout the five-day event. The 14th PAUD FAIR was not only a competition platform but also a space for collaboration and sharing best practices among educators in developing innovative and engaging learning approaches. Through this event, it is expected that the values of clean and healthy living can be instilled from an early age, fostering a generation that is healthy, independent, and ready to face future challenges.
