HUMASFKIPINFO — Pekanbaru, Wednesday, March 11, 2026 — The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Riau, held the FKIP UNRI Budget Planning Meeting for 2027 at Grand Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru. This meeting served as a strategic forum to formulate the direction of faculty programs and budget planning aimed at improving institutional performance and the quality of the university’s tridharma—education, research, and community service. The meeting was attended by faculty leaders, heads and secretaries of departments, as well as representatives of work units within FKIP Universitas Riau.
In his remarks, the Dean of FKIP Universitas Riau, Prof. Dr. Jimmi Copriady, M.Si, emphasized the importance of synergy and collaboration among all units in designing strategic programs oriented toward enhancing the quality of education, research, and community service.
The event was officially opened by the Rector of Universitas Riau, represented by the Vice Rector IV, Dr. Ir. Sofyan Husein Siregar, M.Phil. In his address, he highlighted that measurable program planning based on performance indicators is a crucial step in strengthening institutional governance and achieving the university’s performance targets.
During the presentation session, participants received insights on the 2026 Impactful Key Performance Indicators (IKU BERDAMPAK) delivered by Prof. Dr. Rahman Karnila, S.Pi., M.Si, Secretary of LPMPP Universitas Riau. This was followed by a presentation on the Governance Information System and Key Performance Indicators by Ibnu Daqiqil ID, S.Kom., M.TI., Ph.D, Head of the Information and Communication Technology Unit (UPA TIK) of Universitas Riau, emphasizing the importance of utilizing information technology to support effective, transparent, and integrated institutional governance.
The meeting also included presentations of the 2027 work programs from each department within FKIP Universitas Riau, namely the Department of Language and Arts Education, the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education, the Department of Educational Sciences, the Department of Social Sciences Education, and the Department of Physical Education.
As a form of collective commitment to achieving institutional performance targets, the event also featured the signing of the 2026 work performance contracts by faculty leaders and related work units.
Through this meeting, FKIP Universitas Riau aims to formulate well-directed, innovative, and sustainable work programs that will enhance the quality of education and strengthen FKIP’s contribution to the overall development of Universitas Riau.
