HUMASFKIPINFO — Pekanbaru, Thursday, April 23, 2026 — The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Riau, organized a Leadership Gathering and Send-Off Ceremony for Prospective Hajj Pilgrims (CJH) within FKIP UNRI for the year 1447 H / 2026 M. Held at the faculty building, the event became a meaningful moment of togetherness for the FKIP community prior to the pilgrims’ departure to the Holy Land.
The event commenced with a keynote address by the Dean of FKIP Universitas Riau, Prof. Dr. Jimmi Copriady, M.Si. In his remarks, the Dean extended congratulations and prayers to the prospective pilgrims. He expressed his hope that they would be granted strength and good health throughout the pilgrimage, and that they would uphold the good name of the institution while in the Holy Land. The presence of the Vice Deans—Vice Dean for Academic Affairs (WD I), Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance (WD II), and Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation (WD III)—further enriched the solemnity of the occasion as a reflection of collective support from the faculty leadership.
The program continued with a religious lecture delivered by Ustad Arif Marsal, LC, M.A. In his sermon, he emphasized the importance of spiritual readiness and patience in facing the dynamics of the Hajj pilgrimage, so that the pilgrims may attain the status of mabrur (accepted) Hajj.
Representing the prospective pilgrims, Prof. Dr. Caska, M.Si. delivered a heartfelt message filled with gratitude and emotion. He expressed his apologies and requested prayers from the entire FKIP UNRI community so that their pilgrimage journey may proceed smoothly and be filled with blessings.
As the closing, a symbolic send-off ceremony was conducted by the Dean and the Vice Deans, followed by a gathering and handshake session among all attendees. This moment served as an opportunity to seek forgiveness and strengthen bonds within the FKIP Universitas Riau community before the departure of the pilgrims as honored guests of Allah.
