HUMASFKIPUNRI INFO - Pekanbaru, September 22, 2025 — Universitas Riau (UNRI) officially inaugurated three lecturers from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) as Professors, recognizing their dedication and contributions to education and research. Those inaugurated were:

  • Prof. Dr. Daviq Chairilsyah, M.Psi., Psychologist (Professor of Educational Psychology)
  • Prof. Dr. Erni, S.Pd., M.Hum. (Professor of Teaching English as a Foreign Language)
  • Prof. Dr. Yennita, S.Si., M.Si. (Professor of Innovative Teaching Strategies)

The inauguration ceremony was attended by university leadership and faculty members from across UNRI. In her remarks, UNRI Rector, Prof. Dr. Sri Indarti, SE, M.Si., stated that the inauguration reflects the integrity and commitment of lecturers in carrying out their responsibilities. “This inauguration demonstrates the active role of individuals in enriching the body of knowledge and highlights their commitment to improving the quality of education at Universitas Riau,” she said.

At the institutional level, the Rector noted that the inauguration enhances UNRI’s positive image as a university that continues to grow in developing competent human resources and producing high-quality research. “UNRI has successfully developed excellent human resources who are not only academically competent but also capable of producing research that can compete globally,” she added.

The Rector further emphasized that Professors carry broad responsibilities in education, research, and institutional development. “As Professors, lecturers must serve as role models in advancing knowledge, while also upholding academic integrity and ethics,” she remarked.

She also expressed gratitude to all parties who supported the process leading to this achievement. “May this mandate bring inspiration to colleagues and future generations,” she concluded.

With this inauguration, Universitas Riau now has 136 Professors, including 31 from FKIP UNRI. This milestone further strengthens UNRI’s position as a leading institution committed to advancing the quality of education and research in Indonesia.
