HUMASFKIPINFO – Pekanbaru, January 19, 2026 — Universitas Riau held the Inauguration of Professors on Monday, January 19, 2026, at the Universitas Riau Student Center Building. This event reflects the university’s commitment to strengthening academic quality and developing excellent human resources in the field of education.

During the inauguration, several lecturers from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Riau were officially conferred the title of Professor in accordance with their respective fields of expertise. Prof. Dr. Zetra Hainul Putra, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. was inaugurated as Professor in the Field of Elementary School Mathematics Education and delivered a scientific oration entitled Strengthening Teachers’ Mathematical Knowledge, Didactics, and Technology in Elementary School Mathematics Learning. Prof. Dra. Yenita Roza, M.Sc., Ph.D. was inaugurated as Professor in the Field of Curriculum and Instructional Design, presenting an oration entitled Strengthening Outcome-Based Education (OBE)-Based Curriculum and Instructional Design: Alignment of Assessment toward Precision in Learning Outcome Evaluation. Meanwhile, Prof. Drs. Daeng Ayub, M.Pd., Ph.D. was inaugurated as Professor in the Field of Educational Management and delivered a scientific oration entitled Educational Leadership Thinking in the 21st Century Rooted in Malay Culture.

In addition to lecturers from FKIP, Universitas Riau also inaugurated professors from other faculties, namely Prof. Dr. Ir. Mulyadi, M.Phil., Prof. Dr. Erdianto, S.H., M.Hum., Prof. Ns. Bayhakki, M.Kep., Sp.KMB., Ph.D., Prof. Ir. Eni Yulinda, M.P., Ph.D., and Prof. Dr. Nazaruddin, S.T., M.T.

The leadership and academic community of Universitas Riau expressed their appreciation and congratulations on the highest academic achievement attained by the lecturers. The inauguration of these professors is expected to further strengthen Universitas Riau’s contribution to the development of science, the improvement of learning quality, and the implementation of the tridharma of higher education. Through this inauguration, Universitas Riau continues to foster a productive and innovative academic atmosphere to support quality education and produce graduates who are excellent and globally competitive.
