HUMASFKIPINFO – Pekanbaru, June 19, 2026 – The Alumni Association of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (IKA FKIP) Universitas Riau held a Halal Bihalal gathering and Work Program Meeting at the Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor of FKIP Universitas Riau on Thursday (June 19, 2026). The event served as an important occasion to strengthen relationships among alumni while reinforcing the direction of the organization’s future programs and activities.
The event was attended by the leadership of FKIP Universitas Riau, including the Dean of FKIP UNRI, Prof. Dr. Jimmi Copriady, M.Si., the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Roza Linda, M.Si., and the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Alumni, Dr. Ria Novianti, S.Psi., M.Pd. Also present were the Vice Chairman of IKA FKIP UNRI, Drs. H. Dheni Kurnia, Dip.LP., M.A., and the Secretary General of IKA FKIP UNRI as well as the Chair of the Organizing Committee, Dr. Hj. Nurhafni, M.Pd.
The event began with a warm and friendly Halal Bihalal gathering, providing an opportunity to reconnect alumni from various generations and strengthen the sense of togetherness within the alumni community. The program then continued with a work program meeting that discussed several strategic agendas, including strengthening alumni collaboration, contributing to faculty development, and optimizing the role of IKA FKIP UNRI in various fields.
In his remarks, the Dean of FKIP Universitas Riau, Prof. Dr. Jimmi Copriady, M.Si., emphasized the importance of synergy between the faculty and its alumni as a key element in institutional development.
“Alumni play a strategic role in strengthening the existence and contribution of FKIP within society. This synergy must continue to be maintained and enhanced,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the Vice Chairman of IKA FKIP UNRI, Drs. H. Dheni Kurnia, Dip.LP., M.A., stated that the Halal Bihalal gathering served as an important platform to strengthen organizational solidarity and align the vision of future programs.
“This occasion is not only a gathering for maintaining relationships but also a starting point for aligning our steps in implementing more focused and impactful programs,” he explained.
On the other hand, the Secretary General of IKA FKIP UNRI and Chair of the Organizing Committee, Dr. Hj. Nurhafni, M.Pd., emphasized the importance of implementing measurable and sustainable programs.
“We are committed to ensuring that every program formulated can be implemented effectively and provide benefits for both alumni and the institution,” she stated.
The event concluded with discussions and the formulation of the strategic direction of the current IKA FKIP UNRI work programs. The spirit of togetherness fostered during the event is expected to serve as a strong foundation for strengthening the role of alumni as strategic partners of the faculty in the future.
