HUMASFKIPINFO – Pekanbaru, June 8, 2026 – The Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Study Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Riau, is undergoing an On-Site Assessment conducted on June 8–9, 2026, at FKIP Universitas Riau. This activity is part of the accreditation process aimed at evaluating the achievement of educational quality standards and promoting the continuous improvement of the PPG Study Program.
The event was officially opened by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Universitas Riau, Dr. Mexsasai Indra, S.H., M.H., who expressed full support for the various quality enhancement efforts undertaken by the PPG Study Program. The assessment team, consisting of Prof. Dr. Sahkholid Nasution, S.Ag., M.A., and Dr. Dase Erwin Juansah, M.Pd., then delivered their remarks and appreciation for the achievements attained by the study program. The assessors also conveyed positive impressions regarding the program’s governance, commitment to quality, and ongoing development, while encouraging the PPG Study Program to continue growing into an adaptive, innovative, and competitive academic program.
The opening session was followed by the signing of the On-Site Assessment Statement, after which a meeting was held with the university leadership to confirm matters related to institutional development policies, governance systems, management practices, institutional achievements, and Universitas Riau’s future development plans. During the same session, the assessors also verified the Study Program Performance Data (DKPS) to establish the final data that would serve as the basis for quantitative assessment.
In the subsequent session, the assessment team conducted an in-depth review of the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS/SPMI) together with the Quality Assurance Institute of Universitas Riau. The discussion covered the implementation of the PPEPP cycle, quality documents, quality assurance instruments, evaluation reports, and follow-up actions carried out to support continuous quality improvement. This was followed by a session with the Accreditation Team to verify the data and information presented in the Self-Evaluation Report (SER/LED).
In the afternoon, the assessment continued through parallel sessions involving lecturers, educational staff, students, alumni, and graduate users. During these sessions, the assessors reviewed various aspects related to study program performance, service quality, stakeholder satisfaction, academic achievements, and graduates’ contributions in the workplace. Feedback from stakeholders serves as an important component in supporting the continuous quality improvement efforts of the PPG Study Program.
Through this on-site assessment, the Teacher Professional Education Study Program of FKIP Universitas Riau is expected to further strengthen its quality culture and enhance the quality of educational services. It is hoped that the entire assessment process conducted on June 8–9, 2026, will run smoothly and yield the best possible outcomes for the future development of the PPG Study Program at FKIP Universitas Riau.
