Tapung Hilir, September 25–26, 2025 — The Chemistry Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Riau (FKIP UNRI), successfully held Chemistry Education Community Service 2025 with the spirit of Green Chemistry blended with the local values of Gurindam Gerakan Riau Rindang dan Bermarwah. The program engaged students from elementary, junior high, and senior high schools, as well as local teachers.
The series of activities was lively and diverse, featuring educational games, science attractions, “Ranking 1” competitions, religious activities, and tree-planting initiatives as a symbol of commitment to environmental preservation. A major highlight took place at SMAN 2 Tapung Hilir with a teacher training workshop on “Optimizing Artificial Intelligence in Learning Instruments,” which opened new insights for educators in adapting to the digital era.
The program was also attended by the Head of Tapung Hilir Subdistrict, village heads, school principals, and lecturers from FKIP UNRI. Strong community support and appreciation from local leaders affirmed that the program not only provided scientific education but also instilled environmental awareness and noble values in the younger generation.
Chemistry Education Community Service 2025 stands as tangible evidence of FKIP UNRI’s role in strengthening its vision as an excellent and reputable research faculty, with direct impact on society.
