HUMASFKIPINFO — Pekanbaru, May 11, 2026 — The Community Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Riau once again demonstrated its existence and competitiveness through the implementation of the 7th Community Education Week (Pekan Penmas VII), held on May 11–13, 2026, at the M. Diah Building, FKIP Universitas Riau. This event served as a strategic platform to strengthen the academic, social, and institutional image of the Community Education Study Program amid increasingly complex challenges in human resource development.
Carrying the theme, “Together in Diversity, Equal in Education, United toward Golden Indonesia through Community Education,” Pekan Penmas VII was not merely an annual ceremonial event, but also a space for collaboration, education, creativity, and strengthening the scientific identity of community education. The theme emphasized the commitment of the Community Education Study Program of FKIP UNRI in promoting inclusive, participatory, and equitable education for all levels of society.
The event was officially opened by the Vice Dean II of FKIP Universitas Riau, Dr. Mahmud Alpusari, M.Pd., and became an important momentum to reaffirm the strategic role of Community Education in encouraging inclusive, participatory, and impactful education for the broader community.
The series of activities in Pekan Penmas VII included the opening ceremony, Community Reading Center (TBM) and Community Learning Center (PKBM) bazaar, national seminar, as well as various educational and competitive activities involving students, lecturers, and invited guests. The enthusiasm shown by participants indicated that this event was not only an annual agenda but also a platform for self-actualization, collaboration, and strengthening the academic identity of the Community Education Study Program at FKIP UNRI.
With the spirit of togetherness and a grand vision toward Golden Indonesia 2045, Pekan Penmas VII is expected to become a new source of energy for the entire Community Education family of FKIP Universitas Riau to continue creating, innovating, and inspiring. More than just an annual event, this activity serves as a strong statement that the Community Education Study Program of FKIP UNRI is ready to shine brighter, excel further, and create a broader impact on society.
