Pekanbaru, September 28, 2025 — The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Riau (FKIP UNRI), officially organized the Academic Orientation for 990 students of the PPG (Teacher Professional Education) Program for Specific Teachers, Phase III of 2025. The event was held online on Sunday, September 28, 2025.
The program began with a report by Dr. Elfis Suanto, M.Si., Head of the PPG Program at FKIP UNRI. The participants came from seven fields of study:

Economics (50)
Physics (26)
Chemistry (29)
Early Childhood Teacher Education (PG-PAUD) (230)
Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) (503)
Physical Education (PJOK) (141)
The participants represent various regions across Sumatra, including Aceh, Medan, Pekanbaru, and Lampung.
The orientation was officially opened by Dr. Mahmud Alpusari, M.Pd., Vice Dean II of FKIP, representing Dean Prof. Dr. Jimmi Copriady, M.Si. In his remarks, he emphasized that PPG students are selected individuals who carry the good name of the university, and therefore this opportunity must be utilized to the fullest.
