HUMASFKIPUNRI INFO - The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Riau University (FKIP UNRI) has carried out a Quality Assurance and Monitoring Evaluation of the PPG Implementation through a Visit in 2024 on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. The event was attended by the Dean of FKIP, Prof. Jimmi Copriady, M.Si, the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. Mahmud Alpusari, M.Pd., the Coordinator of the PPG Study Program, Dr. Elfis Suanto, M.Si., along with faculty members, students, and education staff who support the PPG activities.

In this visitation, the Visitor Team, consisting of Rubinah, S.T., as Visitor I and Novita Nurbaiti, M.Pd., as Visitor II, carried out a comprehensive evaluation. The first activity was to verify the capacity of the PPG organizers, covering aspects of human resources, facilities, and management that support the implementation of the PPG program at FKIP UNRI. This verification aimed to ensure the institution’s readiness and ability to run the PPG program effectively.

Next, the Visitor Team confirmed data and information related to the learning process, assessment, and management of the PPG. This confirmation was based on the results of the reaction and learning level surveys conducted earlier. This step was crucial in assessing how well the learning and assessment processes met quality standards and supported the achievement of PPG participants' competencies.

Additionally, interviews were conducted with faculty members and education staff to gain insights into the quality of the PPG implementation from both academic and managerial perspectives. The Visitor Team gathered information regarding the challenges faced in the PPG delivery and sought suggestions and feedback from relevant stakeholders to improve the quality of the program.

It is hoped that the results of this visitation will serve as a strong foundation for FKIP Riau University to continue enhancing the quality and standards of the PPG program. With commitment and synergy from all parties, FKIP UNRI is ready to produce qualified and competitive professional educators.
