HUMASFKIPUNRI INFO - Pekanbaru, September 3, 2025 – The Japanese Language Education Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Riau, welcomed lecturers and students from Ibaraki Christian University, Japan through the Indonesia–Japan Cultural Exchange and Teaching Internship 2025 Program.
This program provides valuable opportunities for FKIP Universitas Riau students, especially those in the Japanese Language Education program, to gain international experience in both academic and cultural fields. Students not only participate in a teaching internship but also deepen their cross-cultural understanding alongside peers from Ibaraki Christian University.
The collaboration goes beyond teaching practice; it serves as a platform to broaden perspectives, expand networks, and develop students’ character so they can adapt to the challenges of global education.
Through this initiative, Universitas Riau and Ibaraki Christian University hope students will acquire meaningful experiences in teaching within multicultural settings, while at the same time strengthening friendship and cooperation between Indonesia and Japan in the field of education.
