HUMASFKIPUNRI INFO - The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Riau (FKIP UNRI) together with the Front Group 08-001 and 08-002 Scouts of the Universitas Riau held a National Seminar and Announcement of the Winners of the 2024 National Kompasperti Competition on Wednesday, 14 August 2024. This activity is the culmination of a series event which starts on July 14 2024 to commemorate the 63rd Scout Day. The event took place hybrid via Zoom Meeting which was attended by more than 316 participants.
This event was attended by the Dean of FKIP UNRI, Prof. Dr. Jimmi Copriady, M.Si; Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni and Cooperation and Chair of UKM Scouting, Ria Novianti, S.Psi., M.Pd; Chairman of Scout Group 08-001, University of Riau, Ir. Agus Eka Putra, M.Phil; and Chief Executive, Dede Permana, M.Pd. The main resource person in this seminar was Prof. Dr. Suyatno, M.Pd, with moderator Yogi Riyantama Isjoni, S.E., M.M.
In the report from the Chief Executive, Dede Permana, M.Pd said that this activity was the result of collaboration between FKIP UNRI and the Scout Front Group of Universitas Riau which aimed to commemorate Scout Day while optimizing the role of Generation Z in character formation. The Kompasperti competition which was held involved more than 50 participants from various universities in Indonesia.
The first speech was delivered by the Chair of the Scout Front Group 08-001, Universitas Riau, Ir. Agus Eka Putra, M.Phil, who expressed his gratitude for the full support from the Dean of FKIP in supporting scouting activities. He emphasized the importance of Generation Z in leading the nation towards a golden generation, as well as the role of information technology that can be optimized in scouting activities.
Dean of FKIP UNRI, Prof. Dr. Jimmi Copriady, M.Si, in his speech expressed his pride in the fighting spirit, creativity and leadership shown by the participants. He emphasized that this activity is not only about seeking victory, but also strengthening brotherhood ties, building scout character, and developing competencies that will play an important role in forming a strong and highly dedicated young generation.
The activity continued with the delivery of material from the resource person, Prof. Dr. Suyatno, M.Pd, and closed with the announcement of the winners of the 2024 National Kompasperti Competition.
