HUMASFKIPUNRI INFO - The School Field Introduction Unit (UPLP) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of the Universitas Riau held a Perception Equating Activity for the 2024 Independent Learning Free Campus (MBKM) Professional Training Program (PLP) for Civil Service Teachers on Tuesday, September 3 2024. This event was held online online via Zoom Meeting.
Dean of FKIP UNRI, Prof. Dr. Jimmi Copriady, M.Si, represented by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Roza Linda, M.Si, expressed great hopes for the Pamong Teachers to guide FKIP students who will implement PLP in their schools. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of the role of tutors in supporting students during the PLP period.
The Chair of UPLP, Zufriady, S.Sn, M.Pd, explained that the aim of PLP MBKM is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the school environment, both from an academic, social, physical and administrative perspective. Through this PLP, students are expected to be able to link basic teacher knowledge and skills comprehensively and in accordance with real needs in the field. This year, there are three types of PLP activities, namely PLP MBKM, PLP MBKM International, and Assistance, which will be held from September to December 2024.
This activity ended with a question and answer session between the tutor and the committee, where various questions related to the implementation of PLP in partner schools could be answered clearly and in detail.
