HUMASFKIPUNRI INFO - Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) at the Universitas Riau held a Socialization and Workshop for the Student Creativity Program (PKM) on Saturday, October 5 2024, at the M. Diah Building, FKIP, Universitas Riau. This activity was held with the theme "Think Creatively, Act Innovatively through PKM 2025", which aims to equip students in preparation for PKM 2025.
This event was attended by resource persons Suherman, S.Si., M.Sc., M.Pd, Chemistry lecturer from Gadjah Mada University (UGM) and National PKM Reviewer, who provided in-depth insight into ways to produce superior and creative PKM proposals. Suherman also emphasized the importance of innovation and creativity as the keys to success in this program.
Chair of the committee, Putri Adita Wulandari, M.Pd, explained that this event was attended by 388 students from various study programs at FKIP Riau University, as well as 45 accompanying lecturers. All participants came from 16 study programs within FKIP, showing high enthusiasm in preparing for the upcoming PKM.
Representing the Dean of FKIP, Prof. Dr. Jimmi Copriady, M.Si, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni and Cooperation, Ria Novianti, S.Psi., M.Pd stated, "Through this activity, we hope that students can prepare themselves better to face PKM 2025. Time available provide opportunities for careful planning and development of creative ideas that can compete at the national level." He also added that there would be further coaching sessions as part of the student development process.
This event was continued with the delivery of material guided by Resma Wahyuni, M.Pd as moderator. Through this workshop, students are given practical guidance and theory regarding creativity and innovative ways of thinking that can be applied in PKM 2025.
