HUMASFKIPUNRI INFO – Pekanbaru, October 30, 2025 — The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Riau once again achieved remarkable success at the university level. FKIP earned 1st place as the Faculty with the Best MBKM (Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka) Program across Universitas Riau, reaffirming its commitment to advancing innovative learning, fostering collaboration with industry and communities, and enhancing student competencies.
In addition to this institutional achievement, FKIP also excelled in research, scientific publications, and community engagement. Two lecturers from the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) program received top honors for having the highest SINTA scores—Prof. Neni Hermita, M.Pd. (1st Place) and Dr. Zetra Hainul Putra, Ph.D. (2nd Place).
Meanwhile, Dr. Dedi Irawan, M.Sc. from the Physics Education Program was awarded 2nd Place for the highest number of national research and community service projects (as principal investigator). These recognitions underscore FKIP’s significant contributions to advancing research, publication, and community service at the national level.
The awards were presented during the Closing Ceremony of Universitas Riau’s Anniversary Celebration and were received on behalf of the faculty by Dean of FKIP, Prof. Dr. Jimmi Copriady, M.Si., and Vice Dean II, Dr. Mahmud Alpusari, M.Pd., symbolizing the faculty leadership’s strong support for academic excellence and achievement across all fields.
These accomplishments further solidify FKIP Universitas Riau’s commitment to continuously improving the quality of academic programs, research, and innovative learning. This success serves as an inspiration for other faculties and strengthens FKIP’s position as a leading center for teacher education and professional development at the national level.
