HUMASFKIPINFO – Pekanbaru, November 13, 2025 — The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Riau welcomed an educational visit from SMA Negeri 2 Kerinci Kanan, Siak Regency. The activity aimed to introduce students to university life, particularly the academic environment at FKIP Universitas Riau.
The event was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FKIP UNRI, Prof. Dr. Roza Linda, M.Si, and attended by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Collaboration, Dr. Ria Novianti, S.Psi., M.Pd, along with the Heads of the JIP and IPS Departments of FKIP UNRI.
During the session, Dr. Asyrul Fikri, M.Pd delivered an engaging presentation on the profile of FKIP UNRI, available study programs, as well as various opportunities and student activities that prospective students can participate in.
A total of 70 enthusiastic students attended the visit, accompanied by the Principal, Drs. Rustam Effendi, and several teachers. The atmosphere became even livelier during the Q&A session, where students actively asked questions about university life, career prospects, and student activities at Universitas Riau.
This activity is expected to foster motivation and strengthen the aspirations of grade XII students of SMA Negeri 2 Kerinci Kanan to pursue higher education, particularly at FKIP Universitas Riau, in the future.
