HUMASFKIPUNRI INFO - Pekanbaru, September 2, 2025 – The Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Riau (UNRI), organized a socialization and preparation session for the Teacher Education and Teaching Profession Competency Exam (UKPPPG) for PPG Specific Teacher students Phase II 2025.
The event was held in a hybrid format, with the organizing committee and several participants attending in person at Ayola First Hotel, Pekanbaru, while other participants from various regions across Indonesia joined virtually via Zoom.
The session was officially opened by Vice Dean II of FKIP UNRI, Dr. Mahmud Alpusari, M.Pd. In his remarks, he highlighted the importance of thorough preparation for the UKPPPG, which serves as the final stage of the teacher professional education program and a testament to the students’ professional competence.
“This socialization marks an important moment for students to fully understand the technical aspects of the UKPPPG and to prepare themselves both academically and mentally,” emphasized Dr. Mahmud.
The agenda featured briefings on UKPPPG implementation, guidance on preparing teaching devices and instructional videos, instructions on document submission, and an interactive Q&A session that allowed participants from across Indonesia to engage in meaningful discussions.
Through this activity, the PPG Program of FKIP UNRI hopes that all Phase II PPG Specific Teacher students in 2025 will be able to complete the UKPPPG successfully and confidently, and go on to contribute as professional educators in Indonesia’s schools.
