HUMASFKIPUNRI INFO -Pekanbaru, August 26, 2025 — In an effort to enhance digital competencies among lecturers and educators, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Riau (FKIP UNRI), organized a Content Creator Training program on August 26–27, 2025. This initiative aims to strengthen the ability of FKIP UNRI lecturers and educators to create and manage digital content, both for teaching purposes and for publication through the FKIP UNRI Public Relations division.

The training was officially opened by the Vice Dean II of FKIP UNRI, Dr. Mahmud Alpusari, M.Pd., who emphasized the importance of digital skills for lecturers and educators in today’s modern education landscape. “With the rapid advancement of technology, it is crucial for us to be able to produce digital content that is not only useful for learning but also contributes to strengthening FKIP UNRI’s image through Public Relations,” he stated.

Over the course of two days, participants were introduced to various techniques and platforms for content creation that can be applied in teaching activities as well as in the publication of academic events through PR channels. The training also included hands-on practice sessions, enabling lecturers and educators to directly produce content tailored to instructional and institutional communication needs.

As part of the program, participants will take the BNSP (National Professional Certification Agency) certification exam on September 2, 2025. This certification is expected to serve as official recognition of their competence in producing effective and impactful digital content, both in the field of education and in enhancing FKIP UNRI’s branding and communication efforts.

Through this initiative, FKIP UNRI reaffirms its commitment to continuously improving the quality of education while empowering lecturers and educators to maximize digital technology in supporting their teaching responsibilities and promoting academic activities within the university.
